Abstract

1275317 Camera mounts R C HIBBARD 21 Aug, 1969 [23 Aug 1968; 19 April 1969] 41784/69 Headings G2A and G2J [Also in Division G4] A device for combating unlawful action (e.g. shop-lifting) comprises a casing or housing 29 having several lens-like windows 31 arranged to point in different directions at least one but not all of said lens-like windows communicating with a film or TV camera within the housing. As shown, a film, cine or TV camera 8 is mounted on a plate 2 and is operable remotely by a relay 14. A loudspeaker 16 is arranged to emit noises simulating the operation of other cameras. The casing may be hemispherical Fig. 1 (not shown) and may include flashing lights 33, the brilliance of which is controlled by a photo-cell mounted on the casing.
