Compounds of the general formula (Ar=aryl radical optionally substituted by alkyl, alkenyl, acyloxy, acylamino, alkoxy, alkenyloxy; R = alkyl containing up to ten carbon atoms) are prepared by reacting the corresponding 1-aryloxy-2,3-epoxypropane with the neutral or acid carbonic acid salt of RNH 2 or with the carbamic acid derivative obtained from RNH 2 and CO 2 , in an organic solvent. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 994, 918, 1,077,603, 1,078,852.
