Abstract

1,273,708. Display stands. L'OREAL. Nov.30, 1970 [Dec.1, 1969], No.56811/70. Heading A4T. A hair tuft display unit includes a stand 1, hair tuft supports 6 releasably mountable on the stand and each supporting at least one dyed tuft 7, and an indication 8 for each tuft of the dye used in obtaining that colour. The diplay unit may have a cover 4 which is preferably transparent. The tuft supports may be chained to the stand, and are supported by trapezoidal notches 9 mating on to trapezoidal wall 3. The tufts may be gathered at their attached end, by a ring, and the ring placed in a dove-tail recess in a half-support 6, the ring being of greater diameter than the narrowest part of the dove-tail, and a complementary half-support attached to the first. The attachment may be by studs on one half co-operating with cavities in the second half-support, Figs. 2-4 (not shown).
