1,272,881. Compositions comprising S-carboxymethyl cysteine. RECHERCHES PHARMACEUTIQUES ET SCIENTIFIQUES. 13 Feb., 1970 [7 Oct., 1969], No. 7154/70. Addition to 964,989. Heading A5B. A pharmaceutical composition comprises S- carboxymethyl cysteine and a carrier selected from carriers for syrups, solid carriers for pills, capsules and tablets, and carriers for suppositories. The tablets may be plain, coated (e.g. with gelatine) or double centred. The compositions may also contain one or more antibiotics, anti-histamines, corticoids or bronchodilators such as tetracycline, chloramphenicol, synthetic penicillins, promethazine, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, prednisone and theophylline.
