[Also in Division H5] For the composite casting of rotors for electrical machines by the method described in the parent Specification, a base (9) on which a mould can be mounted is connected to a vibrator (8) and is relatively displaceable relative to a cooler (5) along a shared axis, the mould when mounted being located in a hollow heater (2) in which the cooler can be accommodated. The apparatus is that described in the parent Specification.
