1,272,059. Packaging glass sheets. EMMABODA GLASVERK A.B. 28 Oct., 1970 [29 Oct., 1969], No. 51174/70. Heading B8C. [Also in Division E2] A screw clamp for packaging glass sheets comprises a pair of L-shaped gripping arms 13, 14 assembled in U-shape by one limb of one arm telescoping into the corresponding limb of the other arm and a screw mechanism 15, 20 housed within the telescoping limbs leaving the outer contour of the clamp free of projecting parts. As shown a plurality of the clamps is arranged about a stack of sheets 10 and the free ends of the limbs of the clamp arms are provided with lifting hooks 28.
