Abstract
127,155. Courtalds, Ltd., and Criggal, J. E. July 31, 1918. Apparatus for making filaments.-A nozzle for squirting viscose and other cellulose solutions is formed of a tubular body A closed by a disk B formed in two parts b<1>, b<2>. A slot b<3> is formed in the straight side of one of these parts, and the parts are bolted to an internal flange in the tubular body. The nozzle is made from an alloy of copper and nickel, such as that sold under the registered trade mark " Monel," and may be plated with gold or other metal. The disk may be formed in more than two parts, so that a number of slots may be formed.
