Abstract

1,271,353. Invalid walker. A. A. SMITH. 19 Jan., 1970 [21 Jan., 1969], No. 2544/70. Heading A6M. An invalid walker comprises two tubular members 70 and 72, both U-shaped in plan, and two front straight leg members 74. The first tubular member 70 has a forward intermediate portion 75, and two rearwardly extending arms 76 that terminate in downwardly extending legs 78. The arms 76 are provided with handgrips 16. The second tubular member 72 has a forward intermediate portion 80, and two rearwardly extending arms 82 which connect the forward legs 74 with the rearward legs 78. Member 72 is connected to member 70 by fasteners 85 to form a central torque portion.
