Abstract

1,270,202. Heat-applying apparatus. S. OYOSHIHARA. 9 March, 1970, No. 11262/70. Heading A5R. Heat-applying apparatus comprises (a) an elongated and flattened casing 4 containing an electric heater (3) encased in thermal conductive material (10); (b) two pairs of star-shaped wheels 5 pivotably mounted on one end of the casing; (c) two pairs of knurled rollers 7 pivotably mounted on the other end of the casing; (d) a conical projection 8 extending from one side face of the casing; and (e) a handle 2 attached to the opposite side of the casing. Electric leads from the heater pass through the handle, on which is mounted a switch 9 to control the supply of electricity to the heater. The switch controls two elements in a series-parallel relationship.
