A device for introducing a gas into a liquid comprises a hollow rotar 1, Fig. 1, with teeth 10, Fig. 3, on its periphery of which the longer front face 11 leads during rotation in the liquid and slits 13 through which gas from hollow shaft 3 passes into the liquid. The device can be used for oxidation, reduction and disinfection of water.
