To enable a vehicle to be turned between an access driveway and a covered parking area there is provided between the two a turntable comprising a base-plate 4 and a top plate 5 rotatably mounted thereon by means of two balls, 8 and 9. The top plate is retained in any one of a plurality of angularly spaced positions by means of a handle 22 whose locking tongue 24 is engageable with slots 25 located around an annular ramp 6.
