Abstract

1,268,625. Mixing apparatus. GARDNERS OF GLOUCESTER Ltd. 26 June, 1969 [21 June, 1968], No. 29598/68. Heading B1C. A double cone end-over-end mixer has a plurality of internal deflectors 5 which extend substantially across the drum and are inclined obliquely to the rotational axis. As shown there are two vertically perpendicular deflectors, both making an angle of 45‹ with the rotational axis. They may be flat or sinuous, and perforated or otherwise formed in such a way as to increase the mixing action.
