Abstract
1,267,830. Labels. VEREINIGUNG VOLKSEIGENER BETRIEBE TIERZUCHT UND INDUSTRIELLE TIERPRODUKTION. 18 Nov., 1969, No. 56439/69. Heading B8F. [Also in Division G5] An animal identification device indicating data such as performance, breeding and health, comprises a moulded plastics plate 1 having a window 4 through which a selected area of a rotatable information bearing disc is visible. The plate also has holes 5 accommodating various replaceable symbol-bearing studs. The disc may be retained in set positions by a lug on the plate engaging peripheral notches in the disc, or by protuberances on the plate engaging holes in the disc. The edge of the disc may be serrated to facilitate setting and part of it may project beyond the plate. The plate may be provided with one or more brackets 3 enabling it to be secured to a flank fold of an animal, or it may be provided with pins for engaging holes in a neckband.
