An album comprises a plurality of pages 13, Fig. 3, bound by straps 27, Fig. 6, between front and rear covers 11, each page a sheet of cardboard provided with pocketed sections 17 by joining opposite walls of a plastics tube 19 through transverse slots 14 and each of the pages 13 being further provided with a pair of recesses 26 over which are aligned wire elements 20 held in position by a folded strip 22 provided with aligned apertures 23 to form hinge elements co-operating with the straps 27. The pages are assembled between the covers 11 by passing the straps through slots such as slots 12d, Fig. 9, in the covers and threading the ends of the straps through slots 29 in a cover holder 28 provided with hinge means which are identical with those on the pages 13. The covers may be formed by a base board 42d, Fig. 9, over which is laminated an outer sheet 41d which is bonded to an intermediate sheet 40d, the outer sheet 41d being attached to the base board 42d such that a pocket 43d is formed in which are located the longitudinal marginal portions of a binding cover 30d.
