A wind-propelled toy vehicle, e.g. a yacht, has two wheels 3 and 4 mounted co-axially, but independently amidships, a third bow wheel 5 mounted about an axis parallel to the wheels 3 and 4, and a stern support peg 6 which can slide smoothly over the supporting surface 7. The vehicle may rock about the axis of wheels 3 and 4 so that either wheel 5 or peg 6 are in contact with ground, but not both, these positions being indicated by the full and broken lines respectively and in the figure. The yacht has a mast 8, with a mainsail 9, and jib-sail 10, a boom 11 extends along the lower edge of the mainsail 10, and carries a weight 12; the boom can pivot horizontally about the mast 8, 45‹ forward in either direction, but tends to adopt a position extending sternwards because of the nature of the pivot 13 which is shaped somewhat like a rising butt door hinge. The pivoting of boom 11 from its normal position to either forward position displaces the centre of gravity of the yacht from a position along line 14 to a position along line 15. This may be accomplished by directing a stream of air at the mainsail e.g. by means of an electric blower, and when the boom is in this forward position the yacht adopts the position as shown by the solid lines in the diagram, i.e. with wheel 5 in contact with the surface 7, and the yacht may be propelled along the surface by continuing to direct the airstream at the mainsail 9. If this air stream is discontinued then the boom 11 will tend to swing back to the astern position, thus displacing the C of G to the rearward position and causing the yacht to adopt the position indicated by the broken lines in the diaphragm, i.e. with peg 6 resting on surface 7, in this position the yacht may be turned by directing the airstream at jibsail 10, and thus enabling the yacht to be propelled on a new course by again directing the airstream at the mainsail 9. A game may be provided by means of at least one yacht as described at least one electric blower and a surface 7 having upon it a plurality obstacles to be negotiated.
