Abstract

1,261,190. Film threading apparatus. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Nov. 21, 1968 [NOV. 24, 1967], No.34812/71. Divided out of 1, 254,705. Heading G2E. A strip handling mechanism as disclosed in Specification 1, 254, 705, comprising a finger member movable from a first position to a second position in which it engages the periphery of a strip-roll to separate the free end as the roll is rotated, an arm pivotable between first and second positions as the finger moves, the finger being mounted pivotally on the arm at a point spaced from the arm pivot, and cam means arranged to adjust the angular relation between the finger and the arm so as to cause a portion of the finger to move along a predetermined path towards the roll.
