Abstract

1,260,318. Electric battery lamps. OPTOTECHNIK G.m.b.H. 2 Oct., 1969 [30 Nov., 1968], No. 48535/69. Heading F4R. [Also in Division H1] A battery case for a portable electrical device such as a medical diagnostic instrument is provided with a relatively fixed pocket clip and a slidable switch-operating member which is so arranged relative to the clip that when the case is placed in a pocket and the clip engaged in the usual manner the switch is automatically moved to the "off" position. The switchoperating member may be provided with spring- loaded detents to hold it positively in the "on" and "off" positions.
