Abstract

1,260,127. Rocking toy. T. STEVENS and H. M. SECUNDA. 12 March, 1970 [13 Dec., 1968], No. 59373/68. Headings A6M and A6S. A rocking toy comprises two side-members 3, 5 (Fig. 1) of sheet material connected together at their upper edge 2, and having curved lower edges, the upper edges having a recess 11 therein; and a saddle portion 25 arranged to lie across the lower edge of the recess in each side member and extend down the outer side of each side member; and a support bar 31 (Fig. 6) extending through each end of the side-members and through each end of the saddle member. The transverse bar may be of Vee-section fitted through a Vee-section slot in the side-members and saddle portion being fixed in place by locating cuts from the apex of the Vee section near the ends of the transverse bar and inverting the material of the end portion to give an M-section at 34.
