Abstract

1,259,614. Testing. ELLIOTT BROS (LONDON) Ltd. 20 Feb., 1970 [22 Nov., 1968], No. 55501/68. Heading G4H. In a computer controlled testing system, a computer 11, feeds digital information to D to A converters 13, so that an analogue waveform can be generated. The waveform is then fed to the device under test 29, the output from this device is fed to A to D converters 15. The digital information so produced is fed back to the computer 11 which calculates any relevant test parameters for the device under test. The D to A converter comprises a transistor switched ladder resistance network which feeds a smoothing capacitor. The A to D converter employs the D to A converter in a feed back loop to a comparator.
