Abstract
1,258,268. Pressure-resistant hoses. ORSZAGOS GUMIIPARI VALLALAT. 31 Dec., 1968 [9 Jan., 1968], No. 61891/68. Heading F2P. A pressure-resistant reinforced hose, which aims at providing equal stress symmetry and which is mainly for use in deep drillings, comprises a rubber tube 1, at least one embedding textile layer such as 2 or 4, first and second oppositely helically wound reinforcement wires 3, 5, and a rubber covering 7, the pitch of the first reinforcement 3 being between 25 and 34 degrees and that of the second outer reinforcement 5 being such that the tangential pressure resistance of a reinforcement wound in one direction is in equilibrium with the axial pressure resistance of the reinforcement wound in the opposite direction, and vice versa. In this manner P T1 = P A2 and P T2 = P A1 , where P T is the tangential pressure resistance and P A is the axial pressure resistance. As shown, the hose includes an auxiliary reinforcement 8 which can be wound with a pitch between 6 minutes and 5 degrees. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), there are two pairs of oppositelywound reinforcements (3a, 3b, and 5a, 5b), an auxiliary reinforcement (8), and textile layers (9, 4a, 4b, 4c, 6).
