Abstract

1,257,122. Measuring diameters. GIUSTINA & C. S.p.A. Sept. 5, 1969 [April 5, 1969], No.44098/69. Heading G1M. A fork 2 supports inclined roller pairs 11, see also Fig. 2, 3 and has a probe 16 which may be extended to touch the surface of a roll 7 to be measured. A pointer 24 shows a reading of the nominal diameter of the roll 7 and a pointer 25 provides readings of departures from the nominal diameter at different positions along the roll.
