Abstract

1,256,210. Squares; rules. H. ALBER. June 22, 1970, No.30161/70. Addition to 1, 205,165. Headings G1M and G1X. The drawing square of the Parent Specification is provided on at least two external corners with extensions 20 which extend beyond the meeting points 23 of the lines of which adjacent outer edges form parts. One edge of each extension is aligned with an edge 12 or 14 of the square. A pair of scales on outer edges 12, 13 or 14, 15 meeting at a corner having an extension a positioned so that the one on the edge 12 or 14 aligned with the extension has its origin at the point 23, and the other has its origin at the meeting point of that extension and the edge 13 or 15. One outer corner may be radiused (26 on Fig. 2 not shown). The extensions are intended to prevent damage to the scales.
