1,255,877. Holder for disinfecting &c. blocks. H. K. GRASSMUCK. 12 Dec., 1969 [13 Dec., 1968], No. 60718/69. Heading A5G. A device for holding a disinfectant/deodorant block in a lavatory pan comprises a perforated holder for the block which may consist of 2 mirror image cage-like constructions 1a and 1b having interrupted flanges 5 by means of which they may be joined and projecting members 8 having at their ends outwardly and downwardly extending flanges 10 which are so dimensioned that they may be forced into the water-delivery channel around the top inside edge of the lavatory pan and hold the device in place. Typically, the device may be injection moulded from a flexible plastics material, e.g. polyethylene.
