Abstract

1,254,303. Shuttleless looms. SULZER BROS. Ltd. 6 Dec., 1968 [8 Dec., 1967], No. 58072/68. Heading D1E. The guide comb for a gripper shuttle or other weft inserter has alternate teeth of different shapes. Thus as shown in full lines, one tooth suports the dummy shuttle 49 at 61 and 62, while the next tooth engages it as 54. The teeth may be thinned at D and F as described in co-pending Application No. 58071/68. (For Figure see next column)
