1,253,095. Data processing. MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO. Ltd. 12 Feb., 1969 [28 Feb., 1968; 4 June, 1968], No. 7667/69. Heading G4A. In a data-processing system, digit keys can feed arithmetic circuitry and a decimal point position counter via gated paths, the arithmetic circuitry and counter controlling a display. A manual on/off switch controls the gates via a flip-flop. A reset key is provided for resetting the arithmetic circuitry and display, or a pushbutton controlling a power switch for the counter and arithmetic circuitry also resets the latter units. The resetting of the counter need not be to zero.
