A composition for combatting weeds in grain crops such as wheat, barley, rye, oats and maize comprises 2, 4-dichlorophenyl-4'- nitrophenylether (nitrofen) and 2-ethylamino- 4-methylthio-6-t-butylamino-1, 3, 5-triazine, preferably in a proportion by weight from 5:2 to 5:3. The ingredients may be compounded with a solid or liquid carrier or diluent and other conventional additives.
