Abstract

125,097. Lawrence, P. H. May 11, 1916. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Plug cocks.-Consists of a plug for controlling the supply of inflammable liquid and gas in a flame-producing and gas-discharging weapon. The liquid, gas, and pressure gas are all controlled by a single plug 43, Fig. 3, provided with a handle 44 and adapted to be closed by a spring when the handle is released. The discharge tube 37b, gas tube 39b, and pressure gas tube 38b are fixed to a hollow plug 42, Figs. 3 and 4, adapted to receive the plug 43 and to turn in the casing 40. The hollow plug 42 is formed with elongated openings registering with openings 37<a>, 38<a>, 39<a> in the casing so that the discharge tube and plug 42 can be turned through a limited angle without cutting off the supply. When the apparatus is out of use the tube and plug 42 are turned through 90 degrees, thus cutting off the supply.
