Sliding switch-carriage arrangements. - In switch boards of the sliding-truck type, the orifices in the stationary cubicles are closed by arms or plates G<1>, G<2>, H<1>, H<2> pivoted on the cubicle and pin-jointed to a frame A. A shaped rod on the truck bears on a roller E carried by the frame and depresses the frame, when the truck is pushed in; the arms then swing on their pivots and uncover the holes. The arms H<1>, H<2> carry counterweights H<5>, H<6>, which move all the arms and the frame to the closed position on withdrawal of the truck.
