Abstract

1,249,726. Packaging. IMHOFF SCHOKOLADEN-UND PRALINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 28 Jan., 1969 [30 Jan., 1968], No. 4747/69. Heading B8C. A rectangular carton pack for confectionery sticks 3, 3a . . . has a perforated shape 4 which is broken away to reveal and release the sticks by bending the pack about central axis 6. The break-out portion 4, 5 may be on one side of the pack, as shown, or on both sides. Windows 8 may be used to show indicia 9 on the sticks. Also printing 10, 11 and 12 on the carton may indicate the nature of the confectionery. The ends of the sticks abut on the axis 6 for ease of bending at this point. The portion 5 of the carton which is broken out by bending may be of serrated form (Fig. 3, not shown), or of multiple trapezium form (Fig. 4, not shown).
