A variable reluctance differential pressure transducer comprises two ferrite pot cores3 one on either side of a movable ferromagnetic membrane 2, each core carrying a winding 4 and each rigidly cemented inside the pressure vessel 1, the windings connected in a bridge circuit with compensating circuits 6, voltage output from the bridge is fed through an amplifier 7, a phasesensitive demodulator 8 and a filter 9 to output terminals. The bridge is energized from an oscillator 5. In an embodiment for measuring fluid-flow the transducer is combined with a pilottube.
