Abstract

1,247,545 Shedding mechanism. S A J O CORP. 18 Dec., 1968 [29 Dec., 1967; 25 Nov., 1968], No. 60263/68. Heading DIE. A shedding device for a hand loom comprises a plurality of discs locked to a central shaft by spring-loaded plungers 30 and provided on one side with an arcuate warp lifting projection 28 which partly engages in an annular recess (40), Fig. 2 (not shown) on the opposing face of an adjacent disc. The plungers 30 raise the disc to rotate with the central shaft but permit angular adjustment of the disc on the shaft by an operator.
