Abstract

1,246,654. Two-part buttons. M. CAMPORESE and A. LEVI. 3 Dec., 1968 [11 Dec., 1967; 17 May, 1968], No. 57297/68. Heading A3H. A two-part button comprises a male snap connector consisting of a lock stud 1 and a perforating needle 3, the button further having a resiliently deformable part 8 having a recess 6 and at least one radial slot 10. Removal of the snap connector from part 8 is by tilting the connector so that the point 5 of the needle is forced against a side of the recess 6 thus opening the recess neck 9a and allowing the point 5 to slide out. In Figs. 3-5 (not shown) the female receptacle (13) is a separate part that is pressure inserted into a recess (14) in the rear part of a button.
