Abstract

1,241,987. Explosive charges. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. 22 Aug., 1968 [1 Sept., 1967],No. 40286/68. Heading F3A. A plurality of rigid charges 1a-1c each formed with a passageway 2 are strung together along a cable or rope 3. On launching a rocket to which one end of the rope is tied, the charges slide into contact with each other. Projections 6 and corresponding recesses 7 may be provided on the charges, or on a tube (not shown) lining the passageways 2, to prevent any radial mobility of the abutting charges. The rope stretches on acceleration of the rocket, but is prevented from returning to its natural length by a clamping device 5.
