[Also in Division F4] A gas tap has a displaceable knob 10 to actuate a thermoelectric ignition device and a switch 14 for short-circuiting the supply of current to the device when the knob is not depressed, the switch having a movable contact 121 connected to a cam 122 extending into the path of travel of the knob 10 so that the switch is opened when the knob is depressed.
