Abstract
1,240,531. Photographic cameras. INTERNATIONAL POLAROID CORP. July 25, 1968 [July 25, 1967], No.35635/68. Heading G2A. A camera of the self developing type has a housing 10, means for positioning within the housing a photo-sensitive element at a focal plane of the camera, processing means 72, 74 mounted adjacent a first end of the focal plane, a mirror 116 orientated at an angle less that 45 degrees to the focal plane and positioned so as to diverge from the focal plane in the direction from the other end thereof toward the first end, an objective lens 110 positioned near the first end of the focal plane and orientated so that its optical axis is inclined at an angle of less than 45 degrees to the focal plane and diverges from the latter in the directions from the first end thereof to the other end, the lens directing image light on to the focal plane by reflection from the mirror, and means 86 for moving the photosensitive element into engagement with the processing means. The film is fed to the processing means as described in Specification 1, 240, 532. The camera is formed on a folding camera having pivotally coupled sections 12, 14, 16, 18, the camera occupying the position shown in chain dotted line when folded, and being maintained in the operative position by a rigid link 129, extensible light sealing bellows 126 forming a light tight housing with the sections.
