Abstract

1,240,389. Adhesive tapes. A. ASSEO. 22 April, 1969 [23 April, 1968], No. 20593/69. Addition to 1,091,491. Heading A5R. An adhesive connecting device of the kind disclosed in Specification 1,091,491 comprises two tapes 1 and 2 attached to opposite portions of a loop 4 such that when the two tapes and the loop are positioned in a prolonged rectilinear position with the faces similarly directed, the loop therebetween has a figure of eight configuration 46, and a non adhesive grip tab 5 attached to a free end of one tab 2. The loop comprises two strands of rubber 4 knitted or linked together, the. knots each being secured at one end of one tape between a turned back tape area adjacent the end of the tape and a similar facing area of the tape adhered to the turned back tape area.
