Wire 2 is coated after cleaning at 3 and soft annealing at 4, with a thixotropic dispersion by a roller 18", rotating such that it opposes the upward movement of the wire, and fed by a pump 24 from a closed vessel 6' with the dispersion. A drying and sintering furnace 11 is provided.
