Abstract

1,236,675. Tablet dispenser; packages. ORTHO PHARMACEUTICAL CORP. 13 Feb., 1969 [8 March, 1968], No. 7782/69. Headings B8C and B8P. A tablet dispenser 100 comprises a base 102a, 102b containing a plurality of columns of tablet locations, the number of columns being equal to the number of medicament doses to be taken in a given cycle of time and an indicia 106 of time representing a point of time within the cycle of time at which medication is to be taken being associated with each of the columns of tablet locations, the series of indicia so formed being arranged sequentially with respect to time and located on a movable member. The movable member is a flexible strip 108 of, for example, paperboard slidably mounted in the base 102a adjacent the top of the columns of tablet locations, indicia representing each dosage time in the cycle of time being printed sequentially with respect to time on a visible surface of the strip 108 at equidistantly spaced locations, the number of such indicia being greater than or equal to one less than the number of columns of tablet locations. In the construction shown the tablets are contained in a press-out laminate 111, the tablet locations comprising apertures 104 through which tablets pass after being pressed out of the laminate 111.
