Abstract

1,235,492. Knitting-machines. EDOUARD DUBIED ET CIE S.A. 28 June, 1968 [30 June, 1967], No. 30887/68. Addition to 1,170,124. Heading D1C. A modification of the patterning arrangement described in parent Specification enables either a single pattern band to be associated with all of the pattern devices or each of a number of pattern bands to be associated with a number of pattern devices so that a selection may be made to provide a pattern in the fabric knitted of either a limited or unlimited width. The pattern bands are associated with the pattern devices surrounding the machine at different heights and butts are provided on the pattern jacks of each device such that they may selectively engage the associated pattern bands at the respective levels.
