[Also in Divisions G2-G3] Images of printed matter are formed on a photographic material by (1) relief printing a mirror-reversed image on to a light-permeable sheet (e.g. on to a paper sheet using a conventional flat-bed offset machine); and (2) photographically contact printing from this sheet optionally together with a conventionally made photographic negative, the printed surface of the sheet being in contact with the photographic material and the printing exposure being effected through the sheet.
