[Also in Division B8] A cutting cylinder 1 has a longitudinal groove 2 housing a knife blade 6 secured between clamping rails 3 and 4 and flanked by resilient pressure strips 7. The strips 7 allow knife 6 flexibility in the peripheral direction of cylinder 1 when the cylinder co-operates with rubber strip 12 in a grooved counter cylinder 11.
