Abstract

1,230,863. Shoots. CEREAL ENG. Ltd. 19 Sept., 1969 [30 Aug., 1968], No. 41542/68. Heading B8S. [Also in Divisions E1-E2] In a silo of circular or rectangular section incorporating respectively a rectangular or circular outlet, the transition between the different sections is effected by a plurality of front plates. As shown, six plates are used to provide a cylindrical silo with a rectangular outlet, plates 3a and 3c being shaped to conform with the interior surface of the silo. Silos of rectangular section with circular outlets are also described (Figs. 5, 6). In an assembly (Figs. 2-4) incorporating a plurality of such silos discharging at a common location, the outlets and attached conveyers (7) are arranged at different levels and are angularly adjustable relative to a supporting framework (5).
