Abstract

1,229,442. Self-coiling cables. WHITNEY BLAKE CO. 2 July, 1968 [23 July, 1967], No. 31586/68. Heading H1A. A self-coiling cable set in helical form has cores with primary insulation of polypropylene and an outer sheath of polyvinyl chloride. The setting may be effected by winding on a mandrel and heating to 225-325‹ F. It is said that with the chosen materials the insulated cores do not adhere to one another or to the sheath.
