Abstract

1,229,435. Conductor insulation. APPLICOM. N.V. 16 July, 1968 [22 Dec., 1967], No. 33913/68. Heading H1A. An aluminium or copper conductor is insulated with a composite mass comprising two polyester resins and a two granular fillers, e.g. gravel, grit or crushed sand. The resins are hardened at a temperature not exceeding 50‹ C. and have a shrinkage not greater than 1 5%, and may be polyester resin. Details are given of compositions and methods of manufacture.
