Abstract

1,227,073. Polyolefin compositions. SIEMENS A.G. 23 April, 1969 [24 April, 1968], No. 20639/69. Heading C3P. [Also in Division H1] A 30% by wt. solution of polyisobutylene in benzine (b.p. 60-140‹ C.) is added, with stirring, to a warm solution made by dissolving polyethylene in benzene (1:12) at about 120‹ C. The resulting solution of polyisobutylene in benzine containing flocculated polyethylene is mixed with a ferrite, and optionally bitumen, resins or waxes in the manufacture of moulded ferrite bodies.
