122,617. Lamkin, A. E. Dec. 4, 1918. Sparking-plugs.-In plugs of the kind in which a portion of the charge or a constituent thereof is caused to enter through a passage 10 in the central electrode, a passage 3 in the insulator, shown as a helical groove, is in communication with the passage 10. The ball valve 16 may be actuated either automatically by the suction of the engine or mechanically. A mica sleeve 6 may be interposed between the insulator 2 and the casing 4.
