[Also in Division E2] An apparatus for feeding animals at preset times consists of a box with a lid 3 which is held in the open position by resilient biasing, a latch 10, which may be disengaged by a timing device 7, causing the box to open at a preset time to permit access by animals. The box may contain solid or liquid food. The latch may be spring loaded or resiliently biased and its operation is controlled by a cam 9. In addition the timer may actuate an audible signal at the time it releases the latch. (For Figure see next page.)
