Abstract

1,220,910. Connection plug for current supply rail. OY NOKIA A.B. 5 March, 1968 [11 March, 1967], No. 38111/70. Divided out of 1,218,212. Heading H2E. A connection plug for insertion into a current supply rail has flexible contact fingers 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 mounted within a hollow body. Each contact finger, e.g. 15, can be moved between a retracted and a projecting position by means of an eccentric, e.g. 20. The eccentrics are rotated in synchronism by a knob (23, Fig. 3), so that, upon insertion of the plug into a current supply rail, the contact fingers are moved to a projecting position either simultaneously, or grounding fingers 18, 19 are moved before the others. Fig. 3 shows the plug mounted in a current supply rail as described in the parent Specification.
