1,220,580. Shaping hardboard laminates. BAKELITE XYLONITE Ltd. 14 May, 1968 [3 April, 1967], No. 15210/67. Addition to 1,127,321. Heading B5N. The invention of Specification 1,127,321 is improved by using as the synthetic resinous sheet, for facing a hardboard sheet, a vinyl or vinylidene polymer sheet, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl fluoride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers, polyvinylidene chloride, vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymers. The sheet may comprise a sheet of polyvinyl chloride laminated to a thicker sheet of polyvinyl fluoride. Plasticizers, pigments and stabilizers may be present. The general process conditions are as described in Specification 1,127,321. Specification 996,025 is referred to.
