A plastics, moulded suspension rail 7, Fig. 1, having at its upper extremity an integral grooved index tab 6 for reception of an index strip 9a which is covered by a strip 9, is provided with a second, slidable index tab 4 moulded of transparent plastics material and provided with an index strip pocket 16 constituting the upper portion of the tab which terminates in a foot portion 2 whose shanks 11, 13 engage slidably the curved marginal edges 12 of the integral index tab 6, inclined at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the upright limb of the suspension rail 7. The strip pocket 16 is inclined at an angle of about 20 degrees to the plane passing through the extremities of shanks 11, 13. In another embodiment the front face 14c, Fig. 4, of the pocket is displaced towards the shank 11, so that the surface 5c can serve as magnifying means for the index strip 9a. The rear face 18 is discontinued at opposed extremities 19, 21 to provide a slot through which the index strip may be inserted. In a further embodiment the discontinued face 18a (Fig. 3) presses against the pocket wall 17a to retain the index strip frictionally therebetween. In a final embodiment the discontinued rear face 18 (Fig. 2) presses against the discontinued front face 17, which is devoid of the curved lip 20 in Fig. 4.
